Church of San Nazaro Maggiore
The original church was built in the days of Sant'Ambrogio (386) who accepted the reliquaries of San Nazaro. Most of the cross-shaped structure was built in the 14th century, but the apse and the tiburium date back to the 11th century. The church is preceded by the Trivulzio Chapel, built by Bramantino between 1512 and 1550.

Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie
This is one of the most attractive churches of the renaissance period: it was built between 1466 and 1490 in the Lombard-Gothic style by G. Solari and later altered by Bramante, who is responsible for the triapside cube-shaped apse or tribune and the overhanging polygonal tiburium. The three-aisle interior owes most of its charm to the renaissance |
tribune by Bramante, with its towering white dome with four grand arches, embellished with graphite decorations. The tribune leads to the cloisters, also by Bramante, surrounded by arches.
